Whatever you think of Dennis Hopper (if you think about him at all) you have to appreciate the enormous amount of energy he put into creativity and art.
It's amazing to think that even though he'd been "blacklisted" by the big studios of Hollywood he still found a way to create things that made an impact (watch "Out Of The Blue" or "Blue Velvet" to see what I mean).
Whatever happened, he still found a way to get through the assault course and finish with something that stuck out.
In this recitation of Rudyard Kipling's stunningly powerful "IF", you can see even though the author originally wrote it for his son, that Hopper has taken it to heart, too.
And quite rightly so.
